A Showcase of Classic and Modern Cars
The event was a treat for the eyes, with a stunning display of classic and modern MG’s. The oldest car on display was from 1933, a testament to the brand's enduring legacy. From vintage models to modern-day vehicles, the event brought together the best of MG's past and present.
Celebrating 100 Years of MG
As MG celebrated its centenary year, the event was a perfect opportunity to reflect on the brand's remarkable history. From its humble beginnings in 1924 to its current status as affordable and stylish vehicles, MG has done the hard yards already. The event was a chance for enthusiasts to share their passion for the brand and to meet like-minded individuals who share their love for MG.
Meeting the Local MG Community
The event was also an opportunity to meet and greet with the local MG community. The warm and welcoming atmosphere was perfect for attendees to connect with each other and to share their experiences and stories about their beloved MG’s. The event was a testament to the strong bond that exists within the MG community.
A day to Remember
Hendy wanted to show the local community that there is also a open door for people to come and talk to the team who are on hand to answer any questions, advice or general support.
The event was also an opportunity to raise awareness and funds for two important charities: Lupus UK and Alzheimer's Society. Meaningful charities that mean a lot to the community involved with the MG cavalcade.
In conclusion, the celebration of 100 years of MG was a day that will be remembered for a long time. The event brought together enthusiasts from all over, showcasing modern & classic MG models, celebration of the brands history, importance of collaboration with the local community and raising general awareness.
