Topping out ceremony complete for new Hendy Group showrooms in Hampshire

Hendy Group has celebrated a key construction milestone at its new state-of-the-art showroom complex in Hampshire with a topping-out ceremony on the site in Eastleigh.

Renault, Dacia, and Nissan will have their new Hampshire homes at the development which is due to open in November this year.

Chief executive Paul Hendy and property and IT director John Hendy were joined by Eastleigh councillor Alex Bourne (Chair Eastleigh Local Area Committee) for the ceremony in St George’s Way, adjacent to Hendy’s Villeneuve Way Honda, Mazda and Kia dealerships and close to its successful FordStore.

“This new development has been taking shape over the last few months and we’re delighted that we are on schedule to open later this year,” said Paul.

“This state-of-the-art showroom and service centre will provide our customers with the very best in terms of facilities and the work has transformed what was previously unused land. Our investment will provide valuable employment in the borough and enhance our already extensive offering locally.”

The new dealership will employ around 50 people and provide space for 18 new vehicles in the showroom together with 84 used vehicle display spaces.
