If you’re thinking about making the switch to electric driving this autumn, there’s no better time, as Nissan are offering an extra incentive to join the electric revolution.
The brand has joined forces with leading vehicle-charging provider Pod Point and energy company EDF to offer qualifying drivers who buy a new Nissan electric vehicle 10,000 miles of free motoring – which is more than many people travel in a year!
At Hendy, we’re delighted to see this fantastic buying incentive, helping customers to experience the buzz of electric driving for less. They can save money on the cost of running their new EV when purchasing a new vehicle from a Nissan dealership like Hendy in Crawley, Southampton, Bournemouth and Salisbury.
It’s also a prime opportunity to switch to EDF’s GoElectric Overnight tariff, which is tailor-made for home EV charging and offers fixed pricing for a year at an off-peak rate. According to EDF, average EV drivers could save hundreds versus the Ofgem single-rate price cap using this tariff.^
This offer is available for a limited time only – read more below and book an appointment with the Hendy team today to buy your new Nissan electric vehicle!

Choose your vehicle
Following their pioneering work with the LEAF, their roadmap to carbon neutrality and their huge investment in sustainable EV production technologies, it’s no surprise to see Nissan continuing to go the extra mile to make electric driving accessible to all.
This latest offer will add to the excellent value of their three all-electric models: the LEAF hatchback, the ARIYA coupe crossover and the Townstar EV compact van.

Leading the way in electrification since 2010, the LEAF continues to be a pioneering model. With a range of up to 168 miles, charging that’s easier and faster than ever and innovative tools designed to help stretch your miles, this iconic model offers the very best in electric driving.
Nissan ARIYA
The ARIYA is truly the future of electric mobility. This coupé crossover can travel up to 329 miles on a single charge. What’s more, all eyes will be on you thanks to its unique blend of traditional SUV practicality and a sleek profile.
Nissan Townstar
This compact van is here to help you get the job done. With confident performance and impressive economy, the Townstar’s electric powertrain lets you enjoy emission-free driving and can be personalised to suit your business needs.
Leading the charge
After you’ve chosen your new Nissan vehicle, the next step is to order the award-winning Pod Point 7kW Solo 3 home charger. Pod Point will then carry out the consultation, delivery, expert installation and activation of the charger.
Using Pod Point’s smart home charging solution, EV owners can enjoy charging speeds that are up to three times faster than those provided by a standard three-pin plug. Furthermore, you can also take advantage of the charger’s built-in safety features and an extended five-year warranty for added peace of mind.
Switch it up
To take advantage of this offer, you must either be an existing EDF customer or be open to switching your energy supplier to them. The cost of both the charger and its installation can be bundled into your Nissan monthly vehicle payments, making it a convenient and budget-friendly option for home EV charging.
EDF’s GoElectric Overnight tariff is specially designed for home EV charging needs. With fixed pricing for a year, you can enjoy an off-peak rate of just 8p per kWh. This means you’ll have access to five hours of off-peak electricity every night, perfect for charging your EV and using household appliances efficiently.
