*Based on a top-range Arkana vs a top-range Megane over four years (or 8,000 miles per year). With a £2,000 deposit, the Megane costs £12 more per month (£409 vs £421). However, factoring in fuel (£1.45 per litre), charging costs (22.34p per kW), VED and fixed-price servicing, the Megane saves a customer over £46 per month (£2,200 over the term). If charging with a low-rate overnight tariff like Octopus Go at 7.5p/kWh, the savings increase to £67 per month, or over £3,200 over the term.
