2025 Van of the Year goes to the Renault Master
The decision to crown the Renault Master Van of the Year for 2025 was a unanimous one for the panel of experts representing 25 European countries. On 16 September, the Master received its award at the International Van of the Year ceremony during IAA Transportation 2024 in Hanover.
The Chairman of the International Van of the Year (IVOTY) Award jury, Jarlath Sweeney, stated: “The IVOTY jury were impressed with the completely new design and high levels of innovation and technology developed for the new Master, which features advanced aerodynamics, increased usability and enhanced efficiency, space, safety and comfort. Plus, the fact that its new modular platform accommodates diesel, electric and hydrogen powertrains. All attributes that meet the criteria for the award programme. Congratulations to Renault Light Commercials on this well-deserved achievement.”
In response to the reception of the award, Heinz-Jürgen Löw, Senior Vice-President: Renault Brand Light Commercial Vehicles, said: “This is a wonderful reward and a true tribute to all the teams who worked on this project. Renault are enjoying an exceptional year of success; the Renault Master is Renault’s fifth van to win Van of the Year over the last 27 years and follows the victory of the Renault Scenic E-Tech 100% electric, which scooped the Car of the Year title back in February.
