A perfect motorsport partnership! Škoda, a brand with a long-standing motorsport heritage of over 120 years, is thrilled to form a partnership with Silverstone, one of the UK's most iconic racing circuits. For the next 12 months, Škoda will collaborate closely Silverstone, leveraging its expertise to support the logistics operations at the upcoming Formula 1 Qatar Airways British Grand Prix.
Silverstone has also introduced a new fleet of Enyaq vehicles and 24 newly installed electric charging stations, which will provide electric mobility around the venue. This initiative aims to reduce carbon emissions and promote sustainable transport options. The installation of electric chargers and the introduction of the new fleet are crucial steps towards achieving a more sustainable future, as they will help reduce the venue's reliance on fossil fuels and minimise its carbon footprint.
In addition to providing a fleet of Enyaqs, Škoda will also have a brand experience stand featuring Gran Turismo 7 racing simulators. These will give attendees the opportunity to drive the impressive Škoda Vision GT on a virtual version of the Silverstone course, including the iconic 1100 OHC 'Red Racer'.
